MIRIAM'S ACTUAL BIO

Miriam Plotkin is originally from the greater Washington, D.C. area. (East Coast Jew) After graduating from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, she moved to Chicago to pursue a career in comedy (Turned Midwest Jew). She has worked in the Chicago theatre and improv community for 25 years, starring in such shows as The National Tour of School House Rock Live!, Hello Muddah Hello Fadduh, and The Vagina Monologues. Anxiety Tonight (Pigtails are Kosher) marks The World Premiere of going solo, Han Solo, with parody songs celebrating (while also making fun of) Judaism. Miriam lives in Chicago with her husband, Phil, and their dog, Bear.
